316 Stainless Steel 2 Piece Spring Check Valves – BSP

Product Description

316 Stainless Steel Full Bore 2 Piece Ball Valves

Premium full-flow shut-off valves for brewery, food-grade and industrial fluid systems.

The 316 Stainless Steel 2 Piece Ball Valve is one of the most widely used threaded ball valves across brewery, beverage, washdown and industrial fluid transfer applications.

Designed with a full bore (full port) construction, these valves allow unrestricted flow by matching the internal bore to the pipe diameter, helping maximise flow rates while minimising pressure drop.

Manufactured from high-grade 316 stainless steel, these valves provide excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in harsh washdown, food-grade and chemical environments.

The compact two-piece body design allows easy servicing and maintenance while providing a strong and reliable shut-off solution for water, air, oils, chemicals and industrial fluid transfer systems.

Features & Benefits

  • High-grade 316 stainless steel construction
  • Full bore (full port) design for maximum flow
  • 1000 PSI working pressure rating
  • Female BSP parallel threaded connections
  • Compact two-piece serviceable valve body
  • Lockable handle design
  • PTFE (Teflon) food-grade seals
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Suitable for washdown and hygienic environments
  • Reliable quarter-turn shut-off operation

Why Choose Full Bore Ball Valves?

Full bore ball valves maintain maximum flow capacity by matching the internal valve bore to the pipe diameter, helping reduce turbulence and pressure loss through the system.

This makes them ideal for brewery, beverage and industrial fluid transfer applications where unrestricted flow and easy cleaning are important.

Common Applications

  • Breweries and beverage production
  • Food-grade processing systems
  • Washdown and sanitation systems
  • Industrial water transfer
  • Chemical and fluid handling systems
  • Compressed air systems
  • General industrial pipework

Valve Operation

When the handle is parallel to the valve body, flow is open. When the handle is rotated 90 degrees, flow is shut off.

The compact flat handle design allows efficient installation in tight spaces while still providing smooth and reliable valve operation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take to receive my order?

Providing the product is in stock, most hose orders ship within 1 business day. Delivery time depends on your location, but typically ranges from 1–7 business days Australia-wide. If you’re on a tight deadline, get in touch — we’ll do what we can to fast-track it.

What warranty do you offer?

All hoses are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, which is typically 12 months from the purchase date. This does not cover incorrect application, misuse, or installation issues. If you’re unsure on suitability, just ask — we’re happy to help you get it right the first time.

What happens if I order the wrong hose?

If the hose has not been cut, it may be returned for a refund or exchange (conditions apply).

Once a hose has been cut to length, we cannot accept returns, so please double-check sizing and suitability before ordering. If you’re unsure, reach out — we’re here to help.

What can I return?

We accept returns on unused, uncut hose in original condition within our return window.

Custom-cut lengths, cut hose, and special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Can I buy wholesale or in bulk?

Yes — we supply trade customers, resellers, and OEMs. If you’re buying regularly or in volume, contact us for wholesale pricing and account setup.

Full Coil Pricing - Is it cheaper?

Coil lengths vary by hose type and manufacturer. We have created tiered discounts that provide far more cost effective pricing for coil quantities.

  • Barfell Hoses are typically 20mtr Coils
  • Continental Rubber Hoses are typically 30.48mtr Coils
  • Continental PVC Hoses are typically 30mtr Coils

If in doubt, please don't hesitate to ask us.

Can you make this into a ready-to-use hose assembly?

Yes — we specialise in complete hose assemblies. We can cut to length, fit ends, pressure test, and supply it ready to install.

If you’d prefer a finished hose instead of loose product, contact us or check out our ready-to-use hose kits.

Can you help me choose the right hose?

Absolutely. Choosing the wrong hose can be costly. If you’re unsure about pressure, temperature, bend radius, or compatibility, send us the details (or a photo) and we’ll point you in the right direction.
