316 Stainless Steel Full Bore 3 Piece Ball Valves – BSP

Product Description

316 Stainless Steel Full Bore 3 Piece Ball Valves

Heavy-duty serviceable ball valves designed for brewery, food-grade and industrial fluid handling systems.

The 316 Stainless Steel 3 Piece Ball Valve is designed for applications where easy servicing, maintenance and long-term reliability are critical.

Featuring a three-piece body construction, these valves allow the centre section to be removed for cleaning, seal replacement or servicing without removing the valve body from the pipeline — making them ideal for brewery, beverage, food-grade and industrial systems requiring regular maintenance or sanitation.

Manufactured from high-grade 316 stainless steel, these full bore ball valves provide outstanding corrosion resistance and durability in harsh washdown, chemical and hygienic operating environments.

The full port design maintains unrestricted flow by matching the valve bore to the pipe diameter, helping maximise flow rates while reducing pressure loss and turbulence through the system.

Features & Benefits

  • High-grade 316 stainless steel construction
  • Three-piece fully serviceable valve body
  • Full bore (full port) design for maximum flow
  • Easy maintenance without removing valve from pipeline
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Food-grade PTFE (Teflon) seals
  • Suitable for washdown and hygienic environments
  • Reliable quarter-turn shut-off operation
  • Heavy-duty industrial construction
  • Ideal for repeated cleaning and servicing

Why Choose a 3 Piece Ball Valve?

Unlike standard two-piece valves, three-piece ball valves allow fast servicing and internal cleaning without disturbing the pipework or threaded connections.

This makes them a preferred option for breweries, food production facilities and industrial systems where downtime, sanitation and maintenance access are important.

Common Applications

  • Breweries and beverage production
  • Food-grade processing systems
  • CIP and washdown systems
  • Chemical and fluid transfer systems
  • Industrial water and air systems
  • Process and manufacturing equipment
  • General industrial pipework

Valve Operation

When the handle is parallel to the valve body, flow is open. When the handle is rotated 90 degrees, flow is shut off.

The lockable handle design provides safe and secure operation in industrial and processing environments.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take to receive my order?

Providing the product is in stock, most hose orders ship within 1 business day. Delivery time depends on your location, but typically ranges from 1–7 business days Australia-wide. If you’re on a tight deadline, get in touch — we’ll do what we can to fast-track it.

What warranty do you offer?

All hoses are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, which is typically 12 months from the purchase date. This does not cover incorrect application, misuse, or installation issues. If you’re unsure on suitability, just ask — we’re happy to help you get it right the first time.

What happens if I order the wrong hose?

If the hose has not been cut, it may be returned for a refund or exchange (conditions apply).

Once a hose has been cut to length, we cannot accept returns, so please double-check sizing and suitability before ordering. If you’re unsure, reach out — we’re here to help.

What can I return?

We accept returns on unused, uncut hose in original condition within our return window.

Custom-cut lengths, cut hose, and special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Can I buy wholesale or in bulk?

Yes — we supply trade customers, resellers, and OEMs. If you’re buying regularly or in volume, contact us for wholesale pricing and account setup.

Full Coil Pricing - Is it cheaper?

Coil lengths vary by hose type and manufacturer. We have created tiered discounts that provide far more cost effective pricing for coil quantities.

  • Barfell Hoses are typically 20mtr Coils
  • Continental Rubber Hoses are typically 30.48mtr Coils
  • Continental PVC Hoses are typically 30mtr Coils

If in doubt, please don't hesitate to ask us.

Can you make this into a ready-to-use hose assembly?

Yes — we specialise in complete hose assemblies. We can cut to length, fit ends, pressure test, and supply it ready to install.

If you’d prefer a finished hose instead of loose product, contact us or check out our ready-to-use hose kits.

Can you help me choose the right hose?

Absolutely. Choosing the wrong hose can be costly. If you’re unsure about pressure, temperature, bend radius, or compatibility, send us the details (or a photo) and we’ll point you in the right direction.
