316 Stainless Steel F/F 45° Elbow BSP

Product Description

316 Stainless Steel BSP Female/Female 45° Elbow engineered for hygienic, corrosion-resistant plumbing in food & beverage systems, marine environments and other demanding industrial applications. Precision-machined from premium 316 stainless steel to ensure strength, flow efficiency and leak-free operation.

What This Fitting Does

A 45° female/female elbow is used to change the direction of a pipeline by 45 degrees while connecting two male BSP-threaded components. It provides a smooth, angled transition that reduces strain on hoses, pipework and equipment.

Why Choose a 45° Elbow?

  • Smoother directional change with less turbulence than abrupt 90° bends.
  • Ideal for tight installations where a gentle angle is required for hose alignment or equipment positioning.
  • Reduces mechanical stress on fittings, valves and washdown equipment.
  • Full-depth BSP female threads ensure reliable sealing and long service life.

Material Advantages - 316 Stainless Steel

  • Exceptional corrosion resistance against chemicals, saltwater and sanitation agents.
  • Safe for breweries, wineries, dairies, distilleries and food-processing facilities.
  • Perfect for marine, coastal and corrosive industrial applications.
  • Retains mechanical strength under heat, pressure and repeated washdown cycles.

Common Applications

  • Washdown systems and hot/cold water plumbing
  • Equipment installation and pipeline alignment
  • Food & beverage transfer systems
  • Marine and chemical-handling pipelines

Each 45° elbow is precision-machined from solid 316 stainless steel, delivering dependable, hygienic directional changes in sanitary and corrosive environments.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take to receive my order?

Providing the product is in stock, most hose orders ship within 1 business day. Delivery time depends on your location, but typically ranges from 1–7 business days Australia-wide. If you’re on a tight deadline, get in touch — we’ll do what we can to fast-track it.

What warranty do you offer?

All hoses are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, which is typically 12 months from the purchase date. This does not cover incorrect application, misuse, or installation issues. If you’re unsure on suitability, just ask — we’re happy to help you get it right the first time.

What happens if I order the wrong hose?

If the hose has not been cut, it may be returned for a refund or exchange (conditions apply).

Once a hose has been cut to length, we cannot accept returns, so please double-check sizing and suitability before ordering. If you’re unsure, reach out — we’re here to help.

What can I return?

We accept returns on unused, uncut hose in original condition within our return window.

Custom-cut lengths, cut hose, and special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

Can I buy wholesale or in bulk?

Yes — we supply trade customers, resellers, and OEMs. If you’re buying regularly or in volume, contact us for wholesale pricing and account setup.

Full Coil Pricing - Is it cheaper?

Coil lengths vary by hose type and manufacturer. We have created tiered discounts that provide far more cost effective pricing for coil quantities.

  • Barfell Hoses are typically 20mtr Coils
  • Continental Rubber Hoses are typically 30.48mtr Coils
  • Continental PVC Hoses are typically 30mtr Coils

If in doubt, please don't hesitate to ask us.

Can you make this into a ready-to-use hose assembly?

Yes — we specialise in complete hose assemblies. We can cut to length, fit ends, pressure test, and supply it ready to install.

If you’d prefer a finished hose instead of loose product, contact us or check out our ready-to-use hose kits.

Can you help me choose the right hose?

Absolutely. Choosing the wrong hose can be costly. If you’re unsure about pressure, temperature, bend radius, or compatibility, send us the details (or a photo) and we’ll point you in the right direction.
