Scotland LL NY is designed for everyday brewery transfer.
It’s ideal for wort and beer transfer where flexibility, ease of handling, and efficiency matter most.
What’s the difference between Scotland LL NY and Vintner Reserve?
What’s the difference between Scotland LL NY and Vintner Reserve?
Both hoses are robust, pliable and crush resistant.
The main difference is EPDM vs Butyl Rubber Tube. Both are widely used in commercial breweries, but the difference can be explained simply as:
EPDM and Butyl are both food-grade rubbers used in brewery hoses, but they behave a bit differently: EPDM is more versatile and widely used, offering excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, and CIP cycles, making it ideal for hot water, cleaning solutions, and general brewery use; Butyl, on the other hand, has a smoother, less porous inner liner with superior resistance to flavour absorption and oxygen permeation, making it better suited for preserving product purity in sensitive applications like beer and beverage transfer.
Is Scotland LL NY kink resistant?
Is Scotland LL NY kink resistant?
Yes — Scotland LL NY uses a monofilament helix that is crush resistant and helps the hose recover its shape if bent.
Unlike traditional wire-reinforced hoses, it maintains flow and is easier to work with during daily use.
Will the lower pressure rating be an issue?
