Tri-Clamp 90° Elbow | 304 Stainless Steel

DESCRIPTION

304 Stainless Steel Tri-Clamp (Tri-Clover) 90° Elbow designed for sanitary process piping where a clean, smooth directional change is required. Ideal for breweries, wineries, distilleries, dairies and food-processing facilities, this elbow maintains full hygienic flow while redirecting product lines at a right angle.

Why This Fitting Type?

A Tri-Clamp 90° elbow provides a precise, hygienic right-angle turn in a sanitary pipeline without compromising flow quality. It eliminates sharp internal edges and turbulence that can occur with threaded elbows, making it essential for product-contact lines in food and beverage environments.

  • Maintains smooth, unrestricted flow through a polished sanitary bend.
  • Ideal for tight installations where pipeline direction must shift cleanly.
  • No internal crevices — fully hygienic and CIP-friendly.
  • Simple to install using a standard Tri-Clamp gasket and clamp.

Key Features

  • Made from 304 stainless steel with sanitary polish.
  • Meets 3A, ISO and DIN sanitary tube standards.
  • Available in common Tri-Clamp sizes (variant selectable).
  • Suitable for process pressures up to 10 bar (system dependent).
  • Compatible with major Tri-Clamp hardware brands.

Common Applications

  • Brewery and winery production lines
  • Distilling, dairy and juice processing systems
  • CIP return lines and sanitary manifolds
  • Tank connections and equipment transitions

Each Tri-Clamp 90° elbow provides a durable, hygienic and corrosion-resistant solution for redirecting sanitary process piping with maximum cleanliness and efficiency.

Care information

To ensure maximum service life and safe performance of your equipment, please follow these general care guidelines:

  • Clean after use – Rinse or CIP components to remove product, residue or cleaning chemicals.
  • Avoid kinks, crushing or sharp bends – Protect hoses and assemblies from mechanical damage.
  • Store correctly – Hang hoses or reels where possible; keep fittings and clamps dry and off the floor.
  • Inspect regularly – Check for wear, abrasion, loose clamps, damaged gaskets or compromised seals.
  • Use compatible cleaning chemicals – Follow manufacturer guidelines for caustic, acid or sanitiser exposure.
  • Protect from high heat / UV – Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, heaters or hot surfaces unless rated for it.
  • Depressurise before disconnecting – Always release system pressure before removing hoses or fittings.
  • Replace worn components promptly – Gaskets, clamps, seals and hose ends should be renewed as needed.

Proper routine care extends lifespan, improves hygiene and ensures safe, reliable operation across all brewery, winery, distillery and food-processing environments.
