Product Care

Vintner Reserve hoses are designed for demanding brewery environments — including CIP, pressure, and daily handling.
Following these simple practices will maximise service life and performance:

• Clean after use — rinse or CIP to remove product and chemical residue
• Avoid kinks, crushing or sharp bends during use and storage
• Store correctly — hang hoses or keep fittings clean and off the floor
• Inspect regularly for wear, abrasion, or damaged seals
• Use compatible cleaning chemicals within recommended limits
• Avoid unnecessary exposure to extreme heat or prolonged UV
• Always depressurise before disconnecting
• Replace worn components (gaskets, clamps, seals) as needed

With proper care, your hose will deliver long service life, consistent performance, and reliable operation in real brewery conditions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Vintner Lite best used for?

Vintner Lite is designed for everyday brewery transfer.

It’s ideal for wort and beer transfer where flexibility, ease of handling, and efficiency matter most.

What’s the difference between Vintner Lite and Vintner Reserve?

Both hoses are built with the same high-quality EPDM materials and construction.

The key difference is pressure rating and weight:

Vintner Reserve – Higher pressure capacity for demanding applications
Vintner Lite – 150 PSI rating, lighter, thinner, and easier to handle

If you don’t need maximum pressure, Vintner Lite gives you the same quality in a more practical, everyday hose.

Is Vintner Lite still kink resistant?

Yes — Vintner Lite uses a monofilament helix that is crush resistant and helps the hose recover its shape if bent.

Unlike traditional wire-reinforced hoses, it maintains flow and is easier to work with during daily use.

Will the lower pressure rating be an issue?

For most brewery transfer applications, 150 PSI is more than sufficient.

If your system doesn’t require high pressure, Vintner Lite removes unnecessary weight and makes handling much easier.

Why not just use a heavier hose?

Heavier hoses can be harder to move, slower to work with, and more fatiguing over long shifts.

If you don’t need the extra pressure capacity, you’re carrying unnecessary weight.

Vintner Lite gives you the performance you need — without the extra bulk.

How fast will my order be ready?

Most hose assemblies are built and dispatched within 1–2 business days.

We keep things moving — if you need it urgently, contact us and we’ll do our best to fast-track your order.

What if I’m not sure what I need?

No problem — we help breweries spec hoses every day.
